300 - Scene of Thermopylae Battle as It Appears Today

Today, the scene of the 300's last stand looks a bit differently than it did when the battle at "the hot gates" was fought, in 480 BC.  Three narrow passes form a gap between mountains and sea.  A road is now located where sea washed ashore then.
