Searching for Spanish-Flu Answers at Brevig Mission, 1951

Dr. Johan Hultin and his team received permission from Inuit Elders to open a mass grave at Brevig Mission in 1951.  This photo depicts Hultin and his team searching in what turned-out to be - at that time - a quest without answers.

Fifty years later, the results would be different.
