Space Shuttle - The Story of America's 30-Year Program

To mark the 30th anniversary of the space shuttle, NASA produced this 14-minute documentary (narrated by William Shatner).  Introducing the film, NASA tells us:

An idea born in unsettled times becomes a feat of engineering excellence. The most complex machine ever built to bring humans to and from space and, eventually, construct the next stop on the road to space exploration.

The film contains highlights of the Shuttle's entire history, including initial pre-launch events.

The United States government is ending the shuttle program after Atlantis completes its last mission (STS-135) during July of 2011.
