Thomas Goodman, Sole Survivor of Centralia Massacre

Sgt. Thomas M. Goodman was the only Union soldier who survived "Bloody Bill" Anderson's massacre at Centralia, Missouri. 

After forcing a train (carrying Union soldiers) to stop, Anderson and his men then separated passengers from troops.  Thereafter, the massacre of soldiers took place.
