Titanic - First Telegram Reporting DisasterThis image is of the original telegram reporting the Titanic disaster. The White Star Line sent it to London's General Post Office at 4:57 a.m., on the 15th of April, 1912. Bearing Bruce Ismay's name, it states (erroneously) "that there is no danger of loss of life."
