Titian - Assumption, c. 1516-1518

This is a picture of one of Titian's masterpieces - The Assumption of the Virgin.  It is located in one of Venice's oldest churches - the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari (more popularly known as "the Frari"). Titian created this work between 1516-1518.
