Paris Years - View of Montmartre with Windmills

Van Gogh drew artistic inspiration from his surroundings while living in Paris, France. 

This View of Montmartre with Windmills, which Vincent created in the autumn of 1886, is part of his darker-painting period.  It is currently at the Kröeller-Müeller Museum in Otterlo, Netherlands.
