XF-11 - Howard Hughes Crash Scene, 1946

On the 7th of July, 1946, Howard Hughes took his new XF-11 for a test flight in the skies above Los Angeles.  A propeller failure caused the plane to crash, gravely injuring Hughes.  He was pulled to safety by a U.S. Marine.
