Canadian Forces Enroute to Juno Beach Tragedies and Triumphs Famous Historical Events Visual Arts World War II

HMCS (His Majesty’s Canadian Ship)  LCI(L)-118 is underway, in this image, carrying troops of the North Nova Scotia Highlanders.  They are en route to the beaches of Normandy during June of 1944.

When they, and other Canadians arrive at the Normandy coastline, they will target Juno Beach.
