Stanislaus Lubinetski’s treatise, Theatrum Cometicum, is an illustrated anthology of 415 comets from ancient times to 1665.

This image depicts one of the illustrations in Theatrum Cometicum (“The Theater of Comets”).

Lubiniezky, a crater on Earth's Moon, is named in his honor.  It reflects one of the spelling variations of his name.
