Flu Outbreak - Notice of Death

This telegram (from a squadron official at Wilbur Wright Field in Fairfield, Ohio) to the Adjutant General (in Washington, D.C.) is a notice of death regarding a private (who died from Spanish Flu) on October 16, 1918.   According to the National Archives:

The flu spread rapidly in institutional settings, including military barracks where men shared close quarters. This notification of the death of an army private is one of thousands sent from military bases to families and other government officials.
