Frank Murphy - Supreme Court Justice

Frank Murphy - Supreme Court Justice Visual Arts American History Government Law and Politics Social Studies World War II

Frank Murphy was an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court when the Korematsu case came before the high court.  

He strongly disagreed with the Court's decision and wrote a blistering dissent.  

It was Murphy's opinion that the majority had wrongly decided Korematsu.   He believed the other Justices were endorsing legalized racism.
