A week after the quake, displaced and homeless survivors in Léogâne set up tents inside a stadium in their town.  The UN describes this picture as follows:

Inside Léogâne's stadium, now a camp where city residents have established temporary shelters, Haitians await a joint food distribution from the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED).

The Sri Lankan Battalion of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) provides security at the stadium.
