Haiti - Montana Hotel in Ruins Ethics Disasters Famous Historical Events Social Studies World History

It is believed 300 people were inside the highly regarded Montana Hotel at the time the earthquake ruined the five-story building.  Rescuing people, including students who had been in Haiti to render assistance before the earthquake happened, proved to be extremely difficult.
