Hippodameia Ancient Places and/or Civilizations Sports World History Visual Arts

This image depicts a cast of the head of Hippodameia.  The original statue, which adorned the east pediment of the Temple of Zeus (in ancient Olympia) was made of marble, around 460 B.C. 

Found in Olympia, the artifact depicted above is maintained by the Olympia Museum.
