Jack Robinson - I've Got a Secret"

Jackie Robinson announced his retirement from major-league baseball before the 1957 season began.  LOOK magazine covered the story, in-depth, and Jack agreed to appear on the popular television show, "I've Got a Secret."

Turning the name of the show on its head, Robinson agrees to reveal - not to hide - his "secrets."  He discusses his plans and hopes for the future.  Taking a seat next to the show's host - Garry Moore - he answers questions from the audience.

Not only is this clip interesting from an education standpoint, it allows us to hear directly from Robinson himself - four decades after his death.

The clip is from the January 9, 1957 episode of "I've Got a Secret."
