Mary, Queen of Scots - Beheading at Fotheringhay

It was said, after Mary was executed at the Castle of Fotheringhay, that her lips continued to move for fifteen minutes after her head was separated from her body.  The claim was repeated in this recreation of events, from Elizabeth R starring Glenda Jackson in the title role.

Mary, Queen of Scots, is portrayed by Vivian Pickles in this BBC series (which first aired in 1971).
