Nosferatu - Cinematic Masterpiece Famous People Film Legends and Legendary People Visual Arts World History Fiction Crimes and Criminals

F.W. Murnau's film, Nosferatu A Symphony of Horror, features a very frightening vampire called "Count Orlock."  He (or should we say "it") is the "Dracula" character from Bram Stoker's famous book.

In this scene, a still-shot from the film, we see Orlock and his vampire teeth.

So closely does this cinematic masterpiece follow Stoker's book (except for name changes) that it was little wonder a court of law determined that Murnau had violated Stoker's copyright (which, at the time, was owned by his estate).
