Pilgrim Cells - Scene of Incarceration American History Geography Law and Politics Social Studies Tragedies and Triumphs World History

Some of the Pilgrim Separatists, who ultimately made their way to America, were imprisoned in a jail ("goal") in Boston, England.  

This drawing depicts the interior of that place—the Boston Guildhall—with a view of the cells and the "kitchen beyond."
