Rasputin - Prediction Comes True

It is July 16, 1918.  Rasputin has been dead eighteen months, and his prediction about the Romanov family is about to come true.

Told to "get ready," the royal family is summoned to a small room in the basement of the Ipatiev house.  A guard tells them rumors are swirling in Moscow - that the family "is all dead" - and they need to be photographed to quell the rumors.

Soon thereafter ... the shooting begins.

Remains of family members, and their personal staff, were later discovered.  The bones of Nicholas II, Alexandra and three of their children were laid to rest in St. Petersburg's St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in July of 1998.
