Ronald Reagan - First Inaugural Address

Ronald Reagan became America's 40th president on January 20, 1981.  He was the first to be sworn-in, and deliver his inaugural address, at the Capitol's West Front. 

Barely two months later, he was shot in an attempted assassination.
