Recapturing Stalingrad was a huge boost for the Soviet people and the Allies.

By February of 1943, this poster was celebrating the victory but also reminding the country that the Great Patriotic War (as the Russian people still refer to World War II) was not-yet over:

Under the rule of Stalin's generals, forward to liberate our Motherland!

Marshal of the Soviet Union G. K. Zhukov, Marshal of the Soviet Union A. M. Vasilevsky and Chief Marshal of Artillery N. N. Voronov.

It would be another two years and three months - after this poster was released - before the war in Europe would finally end.
