Silent Protest March of 1917 - Invitation

This invitation announced a silent protest march to be held in New York City on July 28, 1917. The event protested recent mob violence against African-Americans (in East St. Louis) and continued lynchings of blacks (for which the perpetrators were never arrested and punished).
