The Longest Day - A Film About D-Day

"The Longest Day," a 1962 movie by Darryl F. Zanuck, recreates the events of D-Day and the beginning of the Normandy Invasion.  The Academy-Award winning film includes actors from several countries.  Among others, it stars Sean Connery, Richard Burton, Henry Fonda, John Wayne and Robert Mitchum.
